Role Profile

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Risk Lead to join our client's team in the Investment Banking industry. As a Risk Lead, you will play a crucial role in partnering and supporting the Currency, Commodities & Derivatives Operations (CCDO) teams and senior leaders.

Your main responsibilities will include proactively identifying, quantifying, prioritising, and mitigating risks, improving controls, and maintaining a focus on operational excellence and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with CCDO teams to improve the risk profile and control environment
  • Provide independent oversight and assessment of the risk environment
  • Strengthen control culture and practises, promoting risk principles across the organisation
  • Coordinate regulatory exams, corporate audits, and target risk assessments
  • Develop and maintain the Single Process Inventory framework
  • Collaborate with Audit, Compliance, and Operational Risk partners on findings and emerging themes
  • Ensure compliance with critical deadlines for risk identification and remediation

Skills & Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Experience in a risk role, audit function, or second-line risk preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Global Markets products or support functions preferred
  • Track record of process improvement and successful teamwork

  • Motivated and adaptable in a diverse environment
