A prestigious law firm based in Chester is seeking a skilled and dedicated Wills, Trusts, and Estates Solicitor to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of Wills, Trusts, and Estates matters, including drafting wills, administering estates, advising on tax and succession planning, and trust management.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on all aspects of Wills, Trusts, and Estates, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, client-focused service.
  • Work with high-net-worth individuals on more complex matters, including inheritance tax planning, wealth preservation, and trust creation.
  • Draft, review, and amend Wills, Powers of Attorney, and trust documents, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Oversee the administration of estates, including dealing with probate, inheritance tax returns, and distribution of assets.
  • Liaise with clients, third parties, and experts, maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Assist with the development and growth of the department by contributing to marketing, networking, and business development activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years PQE in Wills, Trusts, and Estates (or equivalent experience).
  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation and tax implications related to trusts, estates, and succession planning.
  • Excellent client-facing skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach to legal matters.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently and effectively, with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
