About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HR ABAP Developer to join a leading organisation based in Broughton, UK, on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering complex payroll and HR solutions while bridging the gap between technical teams, functional experts, and external stakeholders.

As an integral part of the HRIS team, you'll analyse business requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure seamless integration with the existing payroll configurations. Your expertise in SAP HR, ABAP, and payroll systems will contribute to the success of multiple high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a critical interface between functional HR experts, HRIS teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Analyse detailed business requirements and deliver technical SAP solutions that align with both local and global environments.
  • Assess and manage the impact of SAP updates, ensuring system consistency and delivering configuration updates as needed.
  • Support payroll and pension projects, utilising your technical expertise to drive successful implementations.
  • Develop and execute test scripts to ensure solutions meet business needs and operate seamlessly.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate technical knowledge into clear, actionable insights.

What We're Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in SAP HR, specifically within the payroll domain, coupled with proven expertise in SAP ABAP and SAP FICO.
  • A strong track record of delivering complex payroll projects.
  • Proficiency in integrating SAP HR with Workday and Google Applications.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex technical details in plain language.
  • Fluency in English, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
