JUNIOR SAP SECURITY & AUTHORISATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

12-month contract

Based – Capenhurst, 5 days a week onsite (this will go down to 4 days once trained)

£200 – 300/day Inside IR35

Overview

My client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join their team as an SAP Security and Governance Specialist. This role involves managing and maintaining security and authorisation governance processes, policies, and procedures within our SAP environment. The successful candidate will also play a key role in managing SAP accounts, license management, and supporting the annual finance audit, among other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • SAP Security and Governance: Maintain and enforce security and authorisation governance processes, policies, procedures, and the supporting operating model for SAP.
  • Account Management: Manage requests for new SAP accounts in alignment with company security and authorisation governance policies.
  • License Management: Assist in managing SAP licenses, including utilization tracking and relevant submissions.
  • Audit Support: Provide support during the SAP element of the annual finance audit.
  • Risk Management: Assist in managing risks associated with Segregation of Duty (SoD) violations in SAP to prevent fraudulent accounting practices.
  • Training and Development: Sustain personal training records and participate in recommended SAP courses to maintain and enhance skill sets.
  • Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with third-party companies and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Tool Proficiency: Learn to use tools such as Profile Tailor to understand and mitigate Segregation of Duty reports.
  • Software Skills: Learn and utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
