The Payroll Specialist will work within the payroll team within a Centre of Expertise focused on running end to end payroll processes for the main company's divisions in the UK.


Contract role - 12 months

£18.14 per hour PAYE

£24.00 per Umbrella

Location: Wrexham, Wales, United Kingdom

Key Responsibilities:

Handle end-to-end payroll processes for multiple divisions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure divisional payroll accounts are accurate with HMRC, investigate discrepancies, and manage remittances for third-party entities.
Provide support and expertise on escalated payroll and HR queries.
Experience in Maternity/Paternity/Sick Pay Compliance
Experience in P11D & P60 process
Liaise with HMRC in relation to Tax and National Insurance queries
Handle payroll-related contractual administration for executives using the Workday system.
Required Skills and Experience:

Experience with Large Payrolls: Familiarity with payroll processes for at least 500 employees is a minimum.
SAP Knowledge: Experience with SAP payroll systems is highly desirable.
Strong Understanding of Payroll Legislation: Must possess in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and legislation.
Workday System: Experience managing executive payroll using Workday is a plus.
Annual Payroll Processes: Knowledge of P11D and P60 processes is essential.
Experience in the aviation sector would be good.
