Job Title: Finance Systems and Process Specialist
Location: Broughton (Hybrid - 60% onsite as a minimum)
Duration: Contract until 31 December 2025 (with potential extension)
Pay Rate: Up to £39.98 per hour Umbrella / Up to £30.22 per hour PAYE
About the RoleWe're looking for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial operations of a newly established entity with a £400m turnover. This position offers a chance to lead impactful finance transformation projects, defining and implementing processes and tools to support the organisation from Day 1 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement accounting requirements for General Ledger, Fixed Asset Accounting, AR/AP, and Bank Accounting.
- Model and manage finance data flows between legacy systems and new finance systems, ensuring reconciliations are accurate.
- Lead system testing and document processes effectively.
- Develop and execute a finance data migration strategy for Day 1 operations.
- Support post-implementation finance operations, including month-end reporting and consolidation submissions.
- Contribute to the design of the long-term finance systems for the new entity.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting functions.
- Proven experience in finance business processes (P2P and O2C).
- Knowledge of SAP Finance systems (minimum user-level experience).
- Exceptional analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
- Experience in project management and finance systems integration.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Candidates with a background in manufacturing are preferred.
