As an established and expanding IT Services company, we are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our growing team dedicated to delivering a professional and polished service. You will be working from our modern offices in a rural setting on the outskirts of Chester (just off the A55)

As a key person within the team infrastructure no two days will be the same and you will have input to a wide variety of projects.

What will you be doing?

  • Liaising with clients and providing on-site support, installations, maintenance and upgrades
  • Installation and maintenance/testing of Cat 5/6 cabling
  • Hosted VOIP setup & installations including roll out of phone systems, handsets and door entry systems (3cx, Yeastar)
  • Installations of networking equipment
  • Responding to faults and replacing equipment
  • Installation, Servicing and Upgrading of IT products and services
  • Working hours Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
  • Part of 24/7 on call rota
  • Occasional requirement to attend our datacentres in Chester and Leeds
  • Continuous learning, undertake training on bespoke software and hardware partnerships that the company has

Skills and experience we are looking for;

  • Previous experience within a similar role within an MSP environment
  • Experience installing hosted VoIP including 3cx, Yeastar
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud-based services, including 365, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams and MS Office Suite
  • Networking/Routing/Firewall experience
  • Project experience of network design, implementation and troubleshooting
  • Full clean driving license to be driving the company vehicle, at times you may need to use your own vehicle,mileage can be reclaimed
