Certain Advantage is hiring for a Manufacturing Process Engineer based in the Cheshire area.

This role is on a contract basis and is office-based.

The Company

We're working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and separate Space and Defense division.

The Role:

This role is for a Manufacturing process engineer-someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.

You'll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

Detailed work preparation definition (routings, BOMs, SOIs, STV calculations) for aircraft production
Translation of the design intent into the technical instructions and Manufacturing Engineering data for use in aircraft detail manufacture, assembly, test and certification,

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

Manufacturing engineering background
Knowledge of lean principles.
Highly desirable would-be knowledge of aircraft production and business management tools such as:SAPDPDS/PASS and PDM link systemsMTM TiCon systems
