An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Development Engineer for Manufacturing Engineering (ME) within Airbus, in Broughton.

As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be undertaking development testing of new products and analyse impacts to industrial processes whilst meeting safety, cost & quality requirements.

Tasks

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Business by carrying out process mapping and requirement definition.
  • Ensure analysis, design, development, integration, functional and technical acceptance, deployment.
  • Ensure activities are completed in line with agreed budget, schedule and resources.
  • Execution of robust, reliable and safe operations
  • Support shop floor continuous improvement by providing work prep expertise
  • Optimize further development of production processes

Skills

As the successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate some or all the following skills and competencies:

  • Some experience in coating (or related) industry, e.g. paints, chemical treatments, adhesives/sealants.
  • Ability to undertake development testing of new products and analyse impacts to industrial processes.
  • Production experience ideally within a large manufacturing organisation.
  • Stakeholder management & building customer relationships.
  • Analysing and simplifying complex topics and being able to make them understandable to stakeholders.
