Digital within Airbus is a transnational organisation mirroring the Industrial landscape. The ERP Center of Excellence is gathering all SAP applications with the mission to ensure the Business continuity, support growth and define the strategy of the Airbus Enterprise Resource Planning. It is the community where people will develop their SAP skills all along with the Business transformation needs.

We are organised in Product and Service Lines (PSL) that have an End-to-End (E2E) accountability and responsibility for their digital solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Fully support the UK SAP Landscape (Single Aisle, A350, A400M, Long Range) to ensure rate ramp up, minimal downtime and maintain excellent levels of customer service, especially in the areas in the Shop Floor, Quality management, Demand- / Work Order management including outstanding work order management
  • Service management, ensuring minimal disruption to the UK business while maintaining excellent communication links with transnational Digital and Business stakeholders
  • Local Shop Floor and Quality support, enabling new deployments and testing of minor evolution to ensure the effectiveness of UK SAP interfaces and landscapes
  • Assist in the migration from local UK SAP legacy system to corporate Airbus Resource Planning (ARP) and other strategic projects
  • Test the functionality of developments in UK SAP in order to enhance and increase robustness of the various business functions in the UK in line with the site(s) route map
  • Adhere to the robust change management process, minimizing operational disruption, but ensuring responsive customer service
  • Support New Developments or Digital Projects which integrate with SAP & Digital
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with agreed customer requirements
  • Deal with L2 /L3 incidents across a broad spectrum of processes, utilizing your strong problem-solving skills. Ensuring Mean-Time-To-Repair (MTTR) targets are met
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ensure that standard digital practices and tools are used and prioritized in discussions with the customer on their needs, to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Represent our product and deliver in line with expectations of the needs of the product. i.e. Application Support, Risks Management & Obsolescence
  • Strive to the Highest Standards of Ethics and Compliance within Digital and Airbus

Requirements

  • SAP-QM, SAP-PP and SAP-MM experience is essential
  • Manufacturing Operations Shopfloor and Quality processes
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing-oriented business environment
  • Product/Service Planning and Delivery know-how
  • Digital / Change management
  • Team player, collaborative mindset and love to work in a multi-functional with international setting
  • Proactive personality enables you to manage the expectations and needs of our customers successfully
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the business
  • Ability to simplify complex digital language into understandable terms

Skillset/Experience

  • SAP Fiori (UI5) experience
  • Debugging knowledge
  • Knowledge of Compliance regulations - Export control, ITAR and GDPR
  • SAP HANA experiences
  • Leadership skills
