Well-regarded law firm in Chester is seeking an Employers Liability (EL) Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation-focused solicitor to take on a busy and rewarding caseload within a supportive environment.

The Role:

As an EL Solicitor, you will manage a caseload of 130-150 fast and multi-track personal injury claims, including both litigated and pre-litigated matters. You will be responsible for handling cases from pre-litigation through to trial, ensuring court directions are met and that clients receive outstanding legal support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of fast and multi-track Employers’ Liability personal injury claims.
  • Handling cases from pre-litigation through to trial.
  • Drafting court documents, witness statements, and trial bundles.
  • Ensuring cases are run efficiently, with strict adherence to court deadlines and procedures.
  • Providing high-quality client care, keeping clients informed throughout their case.
  • Working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor (or Senior Solicitor) with at least 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in EL/OL personal injury.
  • Strong technical knowledge of litigation processes.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
