Employment Law Solicitor/Lawyer Opportunity

About the role
- Title: Employment Law Solicitor/Lawyer
- Role: Permanent/Full time
- Position: Fully remote or hybrid H/O based in Chester
- Salary: Up to £55K per annum
Role Overview
- Managing contentious and non-contentious matters with a balance approach.
- Manage own client base and caseloads.
- Handling all aspects of Employment Tribunal claims (respondents only), including drafting ET3 responses, preparing trial bundles, and drafting witness statements.
- Advising on TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, unfair dismissal, and other employment matters.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, employee handbooks, as well as day-to-day letters and documents such as disciplinary invites and outcome letters.
- Managing day-to-day client relationships and providing tailored advice to meet client needs.

Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Lawyer (CILEx) with experience in Employment Law, particularly in managing employment tribunal litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of managing a diverse workload and meeting deadlines.
- Team-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote or hybrid setting.
Desirable:
- Advocacy experience in Employment Tribunals.
