The Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join a highly reputable Legal 500 law firm in Chester, Cheshire. This is a full-time permanent job.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Conveyancing Assistant will be assisting the fee earners and solicitors in the residential property department and responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients and third parties via telephone and email and occasionally in person
  • Conducting AML and compliance procedures
  • Ensuring all mortgage offers and searches are received and reviewed promptly
  • Updating CMS and portals
  • Drafting correspondence and contracts
  • Preparing completion packs
  • Carrying out general administration duties including photocopying, scanning and post-handling
Person Specifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant in a residential conveyancing department.

To be considered for this job role you will be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
