Swift Placements are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to join our clients fantastic team in Chester. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within the legal sector e.g. Legal Secretary,Legal Assistantand be looking to join a well established firm.

You will possess excellent administrative skills and a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing vital support to our legal professionals, and facilitating effective communication within the team and with clients.

This role is ideal for an experienced individual who wants a long standing position as a Legal Secretary within a well established law firm.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to solicitors and legal professionals.
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings using Outlook.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties, ensuring a professional representation of the firm.
  • Assist in the preparation of court documents and filings as needed.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within a legal environment including Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
