- Supporting the client with the front-end development process, with knowledge of FEL gates desirable
- Developing and owning the integrated management schedule
- Interrogating and analysing the EPCM schedule and progress reporting
- Planning and scheduling client work packages
- Working with clients, consultants, and contractors for scheduling planning, permitting, and obtaining other regulatory approvals
- Challenging client and contractor schedules, and demonstrating the basis for challenges
- Reviewing progress submissions from contractors and providing guidance to the client
- Supporting the change management process
- Leading schedule reviews and contractor meetings on behalf of the client
- Scheduling interactive planning reviews and 'what if' analyses
- Providing schedule input to the client project team and business support functions (e.g., finance)
- Ad-hoc support to the client as directed by the Client Director
Job Requirements:
- Experience in planning within the oil and gas or industrial sectors
- Knowledge of civil, mechanical, pipework, electrical, instrumentation, access, insulation, and painting disciplines in an industrial context
- Experience in major EPC or EPCM contracts, ideally client-side, with a strong background in planning and risk management
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wider team and support the client's Project Director and project team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
