Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the client with the front-end development process, with knowledge of FEL gates desirable
  • Developing and owning the integrated management schedule
  • Interrogating and analysing the EPCM schedule and progress reporting
  • Planning and scheduling client work packages
  • Working with clients, consultants, and contractors for scheduling planning, permitting, and obtaining other regulatory approvals
  • Challenging client and contractor schedules, and demonstrating the basis for challenges
  • Reviewing progress submissions from contractors and providing guidance to the client
  • Supporting the change management process
  • Leading schedule reviews and contractor meetings on behalf of the client
  • Scheduling interactive planning reviews and 'what if' analyses
  • Providing schedule input to the client project team and business support functions (e.g., finance)
  • Ad-hoc support to the client as directed by the Client Director


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in planning within the oil and gas or industrial sectors
  • Knowledge of civil, mechanical, pipework, electrical, instrumentation, access, insulation, and painting disciplines in an industrial context
  • Experience in major EPC or EPCM contracts, ideally client-side, with a strong background in planning and risk management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wider team and support the client's Project Director and project team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
