Job Description: Facilities Manager - Customer Interface

Work Schedule:

  • Standard 35 hours per week
  • Working 4.5 days between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (hours to be determined at the discretion of the business)
  • Onsite working requirement

Interview Process:

  • Single-stage interview, preferably conducted onsite

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in facilities management, ideally within a factory or production environment
  • Strong customer relations and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively and confidently with local leadership teams
  • Dynamic problem solver with the ability to drive internal facilities teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • This role is focused on customer interface, not leadership

Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Facilities Management (FM) activities, ranging from routine maintenance to strategic construction projects. This role serves as the primary customer interface, ensuring effective communication and timely updates on FM-related actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Facilities Site Manager and Building Custodians to establish and lead site/building process confirmation routines, ensuring follow-up on actions
  • Manage the recording of actions and provide timely updates on FM topics to relevant business areas
  • Act as the main FM representative in local business-level working groups when required
  • Support the Facilities Site Manager in handling reactive and unplanned issues that arise across the plant
  • Assist the Facilities Site Manager and Environmental, Health & Safety Controller in addressing and improving Environmental, Health & Safety concerns, acting as a coordinator when necessary

Essential Skills:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in facility management or building & construction, preferably in a factory or production setting
  • Strong communication, customer relation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Dynamic and proactive with excellent problem-solving abilities

Desirable Skills:

  • Additional qualifications or experience in related fields are a plus.
