We are seeking a passionate and experienced HVAC Operations Manager to join a well-established company renowned for its commitment to exceptional customer service. The Role

As the HVAC Operations Manager, you will oversee the service department, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to the highest technical and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with clients, technicians, and team members to deliver outstanding results and address client needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the service division, maintaining and exceeding customer expectations
  • Supervise and support engineers and administrators in their daily activities
  • Manage small projects from order to completion, ensuring smooth delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for job and personnel-related issues, including performance management and disciplinary actions
  • Provide technical guidance and support, acting as the go-to expert for service delivery and queries
  • Ensure all national Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Monitor and manage F-Gas usage, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Negotiate with and oversee suppliers and subcontractors
  • Prepare procurement and material schedules while managing costs, including profit and loss reporting
  • Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections, including compiling Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)

Ideal Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry
  • Proven track record in managing small teams
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, VRV systems, chillers, AHUs, fans, motors, pumps, and BMS systems
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Willingness to travel nationally on occasion
