Position: Industrialisation Project Lead

12 month contract (Inside IR35)
£44.97 per hour via an umbrella company
Overview: Join our clients dynamic team within the Single Aisle Value Stream Management Organisation as an Industrialisation Lead, and play a crucial role in supporting the Head Of Industrialisation with Single Aisle Wing Modifications and New Developments.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will ensure the successful industrialisation of new developments and modifications by providing industrial assessments, defining and monitoring project plans, and ensuring alignment with central programme requirements. You will engage with programme work package managers and MFT leaders, applying a risk and opportunity review process, and identifying potential design improvements. Your role also involves chairing weekly governance meetings, leading a team of Local Representatives, and developing communication and awareness training for the Operations team.
Main Activities: Drive a "Safety First" culture, manage project plans, and coordinate industrial trials. Support flight test aircraft refurbishment programmes, oversee Local Representative (BC) resources, and monitor Balance Scorecard performance. Additionally, you will deputise for the Head Of Industrialisation when needed.
Outputs: Your success will be measured by the effective industrialisation of all new developments and modifications, documented through project plans, risk registers, issue trackers, and operational communication packs.
Skill set and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have an understanding of Wing Operational processes, strong communication and negotiating skills, and experience managing similar MFT projects. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques is essential.
