AIR CONDITIONING ENGINEER NEEDED WORKING ACROSSTHE NORTH WEST

This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring compliance with industry regulations while working in commercial properties such as education and hospitals etc

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, ensuring adherence to F-Gas regulations and 7189 standards.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including ASHPs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot air conditioning and plumbing issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and explain technical issues in a clear manner.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of service, repairs, and inspections performed.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and provide prompt assistance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or HVAC training preferred.
  • Certifications: F-Gas certification and 7189 qualification are essential. Additional plumbing qualifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 2years experience in air conditioning
  • Skills:
    • Strong mechanical and technical skills.
    • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing air conditioning and plumbing systems.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
