Project/Design Engineer
Based: Chester
Days - Mon-Fri
8.45am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am - 4pm on Friday.

Due to their expansion and their investment in new systems and procedures they are now expanding their team and they see this as an exciting opportunity for them to invest in their future workforce by offering this role.
This is a varied role that would include:
- Design calculations for manufactured products
- Project purchasing
- Preparing costings for non-standard products
- Preparation of technical design files
- Liaisons with inspection authorities
- Sub-contractor communications
- Produce detailed component and assembly drawings
- Write and develop engineering specifications
Training and support will be given so therefore previous work experience is not a prerequisite for this role. The qualifications and qualities we are looking for are:
- You will have a HNC/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills, ability to self-manage, enthusiasm, initiative and to be a team player with the drive to develop this role and make a real contribution.
