Project Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer within Manufacturing Engineering (ME) at a leading aerospace company. This role is based in Broughton and offers the chance to work in a dynamic production environment, driving improvements and innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct process mapping and requirement definition to support business needs.
- Oversee analysis, design, development, and integration of solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement improvements.
- Manage project financials, including cost-benefit analysis and budgeting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
- Produce and maintain all necessary project documentation.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of project management principles (accreditation is an advantage).
- Familiarity with FMEA, SWOT analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and Flowcharts is desirable.
- Experience in generating technical specifications based on operational requirements.
