Project Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer within Manufacturing Engineering (ME) at a leading aerospace company. This role is based in Broughton and offers the chance to work in a dynamic production environment, driving improvements and innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct process mapping and requirement definition to support business needs.
  • Oversee analysis, design, development, and integration of solutions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement improvements.
  • Manage project financials, including cost-benefit analysis and budgeting.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
  • Produce and maintain all necessary project documentation.


Key Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of project management principles (accreditation is an advantage).
  • Familiarity with FMEA, SWOT analysis, 5 Whys, Fishbone Analysis, and Flowcharts is desirable.
  • Experience in generating technical specifications based on operational requirements.
