CV Screen is recruiting for a Sales Manager with experience of selling precision engineer solutions for a well-established organisation. The role is office based in Chester with occasional travel a salary of up to £48,000 is available.

ROLE DETAILS
Your role as Sales Manager will see you drive the sales initiatives and market presence in the optical components and optical systems industries and deliver its revenue targets.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Create compelling sales pitches, presentations and proposals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships as well as prospect and engage new clients
  • understand client requirements and provide solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies and competitive offerings
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Lead the sales activities to achieve the sales targets
  • Coordinate the sales activities, events and campaigns
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies
  • Plan and participate in industry conferences, trade shows and exhibitions

REQUIRED SKILLS

The Sales Manager will have the majority of the following experience:

  • A track record of multiple project control, budget control, implementation and planning
  • Strong understanding of precision engineering principles, processes, technologies and ideally, optics.
  • Proven experience in technical sales and business development management
  • Previous experience leading and managing a team
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Full driving license

SALARY:
Basic salary up to £48,000 + Excellent Benefits

LOCATION

Office based in Chester, with occasional travel in the UK.
