Financial Process Modelling and System: Broughton Nr Chester: 12 Month Contract; £30.22 ph. PAYE;35hours per week; Inside IR3. Our client has a requirement for a Finance Process Modelling and Systems person to work with the businesses UK Finance team as they implement new processes etc following a recent acquisition . This is a great opportunity to be involved at the beginning of a new project/ business entity. The job holder will work within the Finance Transformation organisation to support the UK Finance team in defining and implementing processes and tools for the NewCo—both at Day 1 acquisition and beyond. They will collaborate closely with the local UK Accounting & Controlling team, the former supplier's Finance Team, Central Finance Transformation teams, and IM teams. Key responsibilities: - Define the Accounting requirements necessary for operating the new entity in the Finance Systems (Chart of account, posting types and schemes) in General Ledger accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Customer invoicing and receivable management (AR), Bank Accounting. Define the Finance data flows from the supplier information systems (monthly balance detailed costs) to the Finance Systems and the necessary reconciliations. Define the requirements and model for controlling and consolidation reporting. Organize and document system tests. Define and document the Finance data migration strategy (opening balance). Execute and document the migration at Day 1. After Day 1 implementation, support daily operations and month-end closing post-implementation until finance data is successfully submitted to local controlling a group Finance (consolidation), ensuring timely, high-quality Financial Statements. Support the definition of the target Finance Systems of the New Company after Day 1. Skills: The position requires understanding of Finance and Accounting function, and the people, process, technologies that support the finance function. Solid background in accounting. Good understanding of Finance Business Processes (in particular P2P and O2C). Experience in project management. Knowledge of SAP Finance as a user at minimum. Strong Analytical skills. Flexibility and capacity to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment. Negotiation and Stakeholder management skills. Curiosity, open mind, promote new ideas, new ways of working. Candidates must have previous finance systems experience and in particular knowledge and experience of SAP Finance. Any experience of working within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial Please note that with this role there is the potential fortravel within the UK and the role will have a hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 60% of the working week spent on site.
