LEAD CREDIT RISK ANALYST

CHESTER, HYBRID WORKING (3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE)

COMPETITIVE SALARY UP TO £60,000

A leading financial institution is looking to expand its Credit Risk strategy team by bringing in a new Lead Analyst to enhance the company's lending policy and develop new strategy proposals. You'll be able to work with a team of talented individuals and develop your skills.

THE COMPANY

THE ROLE

  • Predominantly focused on the design of acquisition strategies and setting risk appetite
  • Maintain and monitor existing strategies and portfolios, identifying areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with the underwriting team to understand customer eligibility
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders, building consensus, and negotiating strategy proposals

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Credit Risk strategy experience, working on an unsecured portfolio
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in either SAS, SQL, Python
