Your new companyI am currently working with a client who is looking for an Office Generalist to support the business on a 6-week basis whilst the Office Manager is on annual leave. Your new roleThe main purpose of your role is to support the office whilst my client is on annual leave. Your duties will include answering and directing calls, managing incoming and outgoing post, and raising purchase orders on Xero. As well as administrative duties, part of your role will include managing the fulfilment of orders, printing labels and packing the product for dispatch. Some days this could form 50% of the role, so you must be happy to complete some manual work. What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you will be immediately available and able to start this position on the 2nd May. You will have at least 12 months' experience within an office environment and be able to demonstrate a good level of customer service. You will be flexible in your approach and be willing to undertake a range of office duties as required. Due to the location of the business, this role will suit a driver. What you'll get in returnThis is a temporary role due to last 6 weeks. The start date is Friday 2nd May through to 6th June. This is a full-time role with your working hours Monday-Thursday 8.30-5 and Friday 8.30-4. The position is fully office-based, and your hourly rate is £13.80/hour including holiday pay.
