Responsibilities
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic doctors at ST1-ST3 level to join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain broad experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment, delivering high-quality emergency care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide initial assessment, investigation, and treatment for a wide range of acute and emergency presentations.
- Work under the supervision of senior clinicians to deliver safe and effective care while developing clinical skills.
- Participate in the management of critically ill patients, including trauma, medical, and surgical emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with NHS standards.
- Engage in teaching, training, and audit activities to enhance professional development and service improvement.
Skills
- Clinical Knowledge: A solid understanding of core medical and surgical principles relevant to emergency care.
- Decision-Making: Ability to assess, prioritise, and manage patients in a high-pressure environment.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
