Role Responsibilities

As a Payroll Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of payroll
  • Learning and gradually undertaking various accounting tasks
  • Ensuring accurate and timely entry of financial data
  • Maintaining payroll records and employee information

  • Addressing client queries with HMRC
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Compiling personal tax computations and returns
  • Providing bookkeeping and management accounting services
  • Maintaining up-to-date accounting records for clients
  • Preparing annual accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Offering administrative support to the accounts department
