  • Salary up to £30,000 (+10% of annual salary paid quarterly as commission bonus) 
  • Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 (Hybrid)
  • Permanent

The role - Payroll Specialist :

  • Responsible for managing end to end payroll for an increasing number of weekly contractors from 800 per week
  • Manage payroll administrators and oversee compliance of onboarding administrators for contractor right to work documents
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant payroll laws and regulations.
  • Lead, guide, and support the payroll team to achieve departmental objectives
  • Processing and collating monthly payroll data for all internal UK staff (and UK contractors inside IR35), such as new starters, salary increases, commissions & bonuses and leavers
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC), including Real Time Information (RTI) submissions and other mandatory tax reports within the UK.
  • Calculate and process accurate payroll tax deductions, including income tax, National Insurance contributions, and other statutory deductions, and submit payments to HMRC on time

What our client is looking for in a Payroll Specialist:

  • Have previous experience Running end to end Payroll - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience working as a payroll specialist from a recruitment or payroll bureau company - DESIREABLE 
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software - ESSENTIAL
  • Able to lead a team and ensure compliance processes are followed correctly - ESSENTIAL
