Zachary Daniels Recruitment is delighted to be supporting this leading food retailer in appointment of a Network Planner to join their ever expanding business.

As Network Planner Provide administrative support to ecommerce planning team in improving online trading opportunities relating to customer slots, slot pricing and coverage.

Key Accountability of the role:

  • Store profile reviews based on later data driven evidence.
  • Key databases and tools used by the online planning team kept up to date in line with latest practices.
  • New systems tested and aligned with existing processes and tools
  • Identify opportunities within the online operating model and space utilisation to release additional capacity across the network
  • Work collaboratively across Ecommerce, digital operations and retail to successfully implement changes
  • Plan and monitor growth for future capacity planning.
  • Use a model to measure and track our network capacity to inform our investment strategy and understand the operational realities.
  • Optimising delivery coverage by store to maximise available capacity and deliver efficiently

Experience required:

  • Previous experience within a logistics or transport planning role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel desirable
  • Strong communicator both verbally and written.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and pace in managing their workload
  • Proactive approach in dealing with problems and queries in a busy and fast paced environment
