EYFS Teacher
We are recruiting for a Nursery Teacher for a Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary School on a long-term basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong leadership skills, and have a background in Early Childhood Education.
You will be teaching in a new small EYFS class with children in a mainstream primary school. You will be supported by another 2 teaching assistants who have a wealth of experience
You must have early years’ experience and experience supporting SEN children. The school has split their large nursery class into two small classes, which allows you to focus on the children needs and development in the class and create a great nurturing environment.

Your role & responsibilities of the EYFS Teacher :
- Supervising the students in class, ensuring they complete a set task
- Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- - Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children- Manage classroom activities effectively to promote learning and development
- Managing behaviour
- Upholding school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Utilise creative teaching methods to enhance children's English language skills
- Organise and participate in educational activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
Non-negotiables :
- Previous EYFS, KS1 teaching experience.
- Phonics experience in any of the following programmes: Read, Write, Inc.
- Worked with SEN children in a school or similar
- Taught in a UK Primary School or British International School in the last two years.
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
