Join our Graduate Development Programme (GDP) designed for Engineering Graduates eager to kickstart their careers in the nuclear industry. This programme is tailored to provide comprehensive training, enabling graduates to develop into fully competent Engineers.

Please note you will need to be currently studying towards your Engineering degree in order to be considered for the opportunity.

The Role:

As a Graduate Process Engineer, you will be involved in a two-year structured training programme designed to build your expertise in engineering functions and processes. Reporting directly to the Engineering Section Manager, youll be mentored by industry professionals and have access to state-of-the-art tools to develop your skills in areas such as fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and process modelling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of various departments within the company, including Engineering, Research and Development, and Safety.
  • Learn to apply engineering knowledge to the design and analysis of complex systems and processes using state-of-the-art modelling tools.
  • Manage work packages, ensuring deliverables meet customer needs.
  • Provide professional design and operational support.
  • Support site installation, testing, and commissioning.
What you will need:
  • Meng or BEng 4 year degree. Final year of study in a relevant subject such as Electronic or Control Systems Engineering, with a keen interest in becoming a Chartered Engineer.
  • Expected to achieve a 2:1 degree or higher.
  • Preferably some work experience or volunteering in a practical engineering role.
  • A well-organised, ambitious individual with strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to undertake assignments overseas as part of the programme.
  • Proficient in various IT software tools; knowledge of French, Dutch, or German is advantageous.
