Currently I am on the hunt for an innovative and driven process engineer to join a thriving food manufacturer in the North West of England. This person will pioneer new solutions and drive continuous improvement across our operations.


As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing production processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and develop strategies to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.


Key Responsibilities:

•    Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
•    Design and implement process improvements and new manufacturing systems.
•    Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•    Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve process-related issues.
•    Monitor process performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.
•    Implement lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.

Experience Needed:
•    Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, food science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•    Experience within a process role
•    Familiarity with process simulation software and process control tools.
