We are seeking an Associate Director  - Projects for an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of public sector infrastructure projects, with a primary focus on lifecycle asset replacements and defect rectification.

Our client is a highly respected, inclusive organisation known for its commitment to both its employees and clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering construction projects across a varied portfolio, guiding project teams to successful delivery while fostering strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and oversee project teams in executing lifecycle replacement projects. Create and implement essential documentation and training programmes to strengthen team skills and performance.
  • Lead the full project lifecycle, ensuring all phases are completed on time, within budget, and to the expected standards.
  • Stakeholder engagement, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and support to project managers, promoting continuous professional development and a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with Health & Safety, Procurement, and Commercial teams to ensure project delivery adheres to operational standards and requirements.
  •  ake responsibility for departmental financials, including monitoring budgets, project pipelines, and resource utilisation. Oversee commercial tasks such as contract creation, purchase orders, and invoice approvals.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Degree or MSc in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as MRICS, MCIOB, or MAPM.
  • Extensive experience in project management. Proven leadership within the construction industry.
  • Expertise in PFI and lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and experience in planning, procurement, and programming.
  • Must pass a DBS check.
