This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large manufacturing business offering a 4-month contract to develop and apply skills within a progressive environment. This is an ideal role for an experienced Supply Planner to apply their skills on a short-term basis
Role Description
- Measuring performance of suppliers and managing supplier relationships
- Working with external and internal departments including merchandising, buyers, haulers and planning teams.
- Working with anticipating factors including weather, seasonal events and promotions that would influence demand.
- Ensuring capacity is not exceeded through management of goods in and supplier orders.
- Ensuring continuous supply to meet demand requirements, meeting company KPIs and budgets.
- Able to collate and interpret data to make reliable recommendations based of this.
- Able to maximise availability of stock while keeping waste levels within budget
Skills and Qualifications
- Experienced within a supply chain planning/ forecasting position
- Previous experience using stock management systems
- Experienced within a manufacturing/ retail environment
