Business Development Manager. Salary: £28-36k basic (£48k OTE) and excellent career opportunities. Location: Hybrid & flexible working between the office in Tattenhall, Cheshire and home based. Occasional field-based travel will also be required so a full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a technology business who provide an innovative cloud based multi-channel messaging solution that transforms the way businesses can communicate with their customers. We are keen to hear from candidates with Business Development Manager / Sales Executive or similar experience, preferably in B2B. Full product training will be provided.

Business Development Manager - The role:

  • Target prospective customers, nurture and close opportunities across all sectors.
  • Seek out, identify and establish relationships with new prospects, then work with colleagues to sell direct to end users by delivering compelling demonstrations of the powerful product suite.
  • Use multiple sales channels to identify and engage with prospects, including attending regular shows and networking events, telephone outreach, email marketing and LinkedIn.
  • You will be given the autonomy to manage your own diary, make decisions and make the role your own in terms of how you generate business.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a Business Development Manager, Sales Executive or similar role, preferably B2B.
  • Experience of selling digital or technology solutions would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • A confident, driven and proactive person with the ability to hunt and close new business opportunities.
  • Have excellent communication skills with a competency in solution selling, a broad business understanding with the ability to write sales proposals.
  • You will be technically “mobile savvy”, proficient at delivering online and face to face demonstrations.
