Adaptable Recruitment are working with a growing business in Chester who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis

Package:

• Salary £26,000 - £30,000
• Study Support (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
• Full-time, Permanent
• Hybrid working pattern after training period
• 25 days holiday plus BHs

Job Duties:

• Process purchase invoices, ensure timely payments, and handle supplier queries. Process weekly payment runs and maintain accurate records.
• Raise and issue sales invoices, track outstanding payments, and assist with aged debtor reporting. Follow up with clients on overdue balances.???????
• Perform bi-weekly bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including reporting and reconciliations.
• Admin/ad hoc duties as required

Who will I report into?
This role will report directly into the Finance Manager

When will interviews be taking place?
Interview will be happening ASAP

Ideal experience?

• Knowledge/experience working within a similar role is essential
• AAT qualification or working towards is desirable
• Ambitious and self-motivated personality
• Excellent communication and time management skills
