The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support, and individuals with SEND.

We are currently looking for a Tutor with Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent to provide group Tuition to a maximum of 4-5 students in Core Subjects in preparation for GCSE Exams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver focused, personalised tuition across various GCSE subjects, ensuring students grasp core concepts.
* Design engaging, interactive lesson plans that adapt to individual learning styles with help of our own resources on our Portal for Tutors.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting your approach to meet their evolving needs by writing a EOW report.
* Foster a supportive and encouraging environment that motivates students to achieve academic success.
* Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and areas for improvement.


What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification OR Tuition experience.
* Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum across key subjects.
* Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build positive, impactful relationships with students.
* A passion for helping students succeed and confidence in teaching up to GCSE level.


Preferred Experience:
* Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students.
* Proven success in helping students achieve academic goals through one-on-one tutoring.
* The ability to inspire, motivate, and boost student confidence and engagement.
