Equal Education Partners is seeking a passionate and qualified Online Maths Teacher to join the dedicated team of online educators at our partner client.

Job Title: Online Maths Teacher

Contract Type: Full-time position, Fixed-Term Contract to 31st August 2025

Reporting To: Assistant Head of Teaching and Learning - Curriculum

The primary responsibility of the Online Maths Teacher is to provide engaging and high-quality instruction in mathematics, fostering a supportive learning environment that enables students to achieve their full potential. As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of learners across various age groups.

In this role, you will be expected to create innovative lesson plans, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback to help students progress. You will utilize diverse teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles and ensure that all students feel included and motivated.

Requirements

Essential

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Qualified to teach Maths (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent)
  • UK-based with current right-to-work
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics
  • Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Ability to use technology effectively to enhance learning
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess and track student progress effectively
  • Collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility and adaptability within a online learning environment

Desirable

  • Experience teaching online or in remote learning settings
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience
  • Familiarity with various online teaching platforms
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Ability to teach additional subjects is a plus
