Reed Education are working with a Secondary school in Chester we are actively recruiting for a Maths Teacher on a part time basis (Monday to Wednesday, Friday). This role starts January 2025 and is likely to be longer term. The successful candidate will have a passion for Maths and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities:

Teach Maths to students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced levelPlan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate studentsDevelop and implement a Maths curriculum that meets the needs of students and the schoolAssess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parentsKeep up-to-date with the latest developments in Maths education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriateFoster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent

NQTs and ECTs are welcome to apply

Relevant degree or diploma in Maths education or related fieldProven experience teaching Maths to students of all ages and abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong organisational and time-management skillsCommitment to ongoing professional development
