Venn Group have been approached by a Support Organisation and would like to introduce the following positions available

Homeless Support Worker Vacancies waiting to be filled 

Position:          Support Worker

Location:         Chester CH1  

Rate:               £15.00 p /hour (Umbrella rate)

Length:            5 weeks  

Hours:             36 hours p/week (mix of days and/or evening shifts) weekends can be included

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Engaging with customers who are placed at the centre who are exiting sleeping rough
  • Completing Health and Safety checks and crisis management
  • Working within the safeguarding protocols, working proactively by supporting and responding to issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable adults
  • Supporting the team in turning around and cleaning void rooms within the service
  • Completing robust triage to determine customer level of need and signposting to support services required
  • Undertaking needs and risk assessments and co-creating support plans with the customer with an emphasis on achieving positive outcomes
  • No caseload management
