Senior Software Engineer (C#)

Chester (Hybrid, 2 days a week in office)

£60,000

My client is a UK Microsoft partner, a household brand and a leader in training and certifying their teams. Their three core teams are growing and they’re looking for multiple Senior Software Engineers. If you’ve got C# and Azure experience and want to work on: greenfield projects, major cloud upgrades and constant improvements, this could be the role for you.

They get access to the latest in Microsoft tech and are looking for someone who feels like they could add value to their systems which are used by thousands of internal employees and shops every day.

Their focus has always been scalability, clean code and keeping millions of customers happy. You’ll get a chance to work on their custom solutions that power a top 10 FMCG tech team and develop your skills with the latest tech.

An ideal candidate would be someone working at a senior level or a mid-level looking to step up and has experience of working with implementations or applications and Azure cloud tech.

Responsibilities and day to day:

  • Use the latest cloud and web technology to build quality and innovative software solutions.
  • Work across backend and frontend greenfield projects and improvement projects including building new microservice platform
  • Getting to grips with Azure based integration technology and Terraform
  • Upskilling and training, becoming accredited in Microsoft tech
  • Working in an agile environment collaborating with Bas, testers, devops
  • Bringing ideas to the table on how to improve processes, designs and then implementing those ideas
  • Mentoring junior developers

Skills required:

  • Experience in a C#/ .net environment
  • Any frontend JavaScript experience, they use Vue but are happy to train
  • Azure cloud technology
  • Any Terraform and Microservices experience would be very beneficial
