As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will:

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop personalised learning strategies.

  • Encourage independence, self-esteem, and resilience in students through engaging activities.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers, helping to evaluate and adapt teaching approaches.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • A compassionate and patient nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • An understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • A relevant qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential.
