We are looking for highly motivated, flexible, and committed SEN Teaching Assistants for a school based in Chester.
This school is based in Chester City Centre, and is an Independent Special School for young people with autism aged 4-19 years whom may have additional learning difficulties and behaviours that challenge.

Pay: 85 - 105 per day
About the Role:
We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants to support students on a 1-1 basis or within small groups, the students will need a range of support.
Many of the roles we advertise may start as temporary but there is often the opportunity to work long term or even permanent.

Key Requirements:
Experience and understanding of how to support young people with social, emotional, mental health needs.
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold a current DBS on the update service or willing to take one out

Duties will include:
Supporting and supervising educational games, sports, and craft activities
Helping children with their reading
Preparing the classroom for a lesson
Working with pupils in small groups/and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
Putting together displays of children's work
Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
Listening to children read, reading to them, or telling them stories
Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks
Supervising group activities
