In this role you will play a  crucial role in supporting settings to effectively meet the needs of children in the early years with additional needs.You will make manage a caseload of children with Education Health and Care plans to ensure that all appropriate actions relating to statutory requirements are met. You will  undertake casework relating to new requests for statutory assessment to ensure that the case is prepared for a decision by SEN panel. You will write Education Health and Care Plans and make any amendments as required.Essential to this roleQualifications/TrainingA good standard of educational and/or vocational qualifications, including English and maths at GCSE Grade A – C or equivalent BTEC Level 3 award in SEN Casework or proven experience in a similar field. RSA Stage II Text Processing or an ability to demonstrate an equivalent standard. The applicant must have completed Child Protection Training (and undertake upstaged training as required), including the Common Assessment Framework, or be willing to undertake this training on appointment.
