We're looking for Maintenance Support Technician. Based at our Capenhurst site, you'll work as part as the Maintenance Execution team actively carrying out the activities on the maintenance plan and responding to breakdown situations. To support delivering the maintenance plan and support the plant online factor by ensuring all the required documentation, spares and tools are available to carry out each maintenance activity and to ensure that all technical documentation is readily available to those who need it

What you'll do:
- Manage the Plant Maintenance Technical Library by developing and owning the process for inputting new additions or updating current items within it
- Manage the Kardex Withdrawals
- Assist the Maintenance Planners where required to generate work packs for each individual maintenance activity
- Assist the Maintenance Execution Team to ensure that they have all the necessary resource required to carry out their tasks, and work alongside the Maintenance Technicians where required to deliver both planned and reactive work
- Cost effective ordering of all tools, spares, PPE, and equipment as well as working alongside Planners to store code new items.
- Hold the role of Off Site Monitor for Plant Maintenance
What do you need to thrive in this role?
- Recognised external safety qualifications - IOSH, NEBOSH
- Time-served apprenticeship in Maintenance or Operations is desirable
- Off Site Monitor Training
- Experience in controlling documentation and creating archiving / library systems
- Intermediate level knowledge on maintenance documentation
- Well developed, planning, coordinating, organising and communications skills
- Good communication and customer liaison skills to be able to identify and understand requirements and to gain confidence in solutions provided
