Responsibilities:

  • Clean, dust, and sanitise all assigned areas, including floors, surfaces, furniture, restrooms, and kitchen spaces.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and carpets.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners; ensure waste is disposed of properly.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Replenish supplies, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, including scrubbing and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or equipment, to the supervisor.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
  • Work with other cleaning staff to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Good physical condition and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and work efficiently.
  • Dependable, punctual, and with a positive attitude.
