This role sits within our Cleaning business division that provides cleaning and hygiene services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Retail & Leisure market.

About The Role:Working 4 days out of 7 days on varied shift patterns, 30 hours per week.

Successful candidate will be required to cover other team members on holidays and other leave

As Linen Porter, you will ensure that the expected standards of cleanliness according to Brand Standards are maintained in corridors, lift landings and all other public walkways including all fire escapes and staff areas.Other responsibilities include:

  • To report general maintenance throughout the Hotel following the agreed hotel procedure
  • To assist the Room Attendants with any heavy lifting duties and support all periodic work, such as turning mattresses, removing net curtains etc ensuring that Manual Handling techniques are strictly adhered to
  • To assist the Floor Managers as required and support in all stock counts within the Housekeeping Department
  • To ensure that all Housekeeping Store Rooms are kept clean and tidy at all times and that all items are stored within our Health & Safety guidelines
  • Deliver and make extra beds, opening and making of sofa beds and supplying additional Guest supplies and towels as requested according to Brand Standards

You will meet the following criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience working in a hotel would be preferable
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding of health and safety
