We arerecruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer inCheshire, looking for an experiencedMaintenance Managerto lead a high-performing team in a dynamic production environment. This specialist site focuses onfabric care and construction material productsfor major global brands, and they are seeking a results-driven professional to take ownership of theirmaintenance strategy, driving efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement across operations.


About the Role:

AsMaintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading thesites maintenance program, ensuring maximum equipment reliability and efficiency. This includes implementingplanned preventative maintenance (PPM)strategies, managing a team ofmulti-skilled Maintenance Technicians, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring thesafe, compliant, and cost-effectiveoperation of the sites assets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop theMaintenance Team, ensuring high standards of performance and technical competency.
  • Implementproactive maintenance strategiesto reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Managemaintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor relationships to optimise cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance withUK Health & Safety regulations, includingPUWER, LOLER, and COSHH.
  • Drivecontinuous improvementinitiatives, includingRoot Cause Analysis (RCA)andTotal Productive Maintenance (TPM)methodologies.
  • UtiliseCMMS and data analyticsto track maintenance performance and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Strong knowledge ofmechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Familiarity withreliability-centred maintenance (RCM)andpredictive maintenance techniques.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience inCMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
