CODED WELDER REQUIRED

We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Fabricator Welder with ASME IX coding to join our UK leading engineering client at their facility in Winsford. The successful candidate will join an expert team, working on high-specification fabrication and welding projects in a fast-paced and safety-critical environment.

Duties of the Role:

Carry out precision MIG/TIG/MMA welding and fabrication to ASME IX standards.
Experience working to detailed welding procedure specifications
Conduct inspections and repairs on pressure vessels, pipework, and structural components
Work with a variety of materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and exotic alloys
Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and welding procedures
Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations and quality control measures
Collaborate with engineers, inspectors, and project teams to meet tight deadlines

Coded Welder person specification:

You must hold ASME IX Code certifications (TIG/MIG/MMA).
Proven experience in the petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors is desired
Strong fabrication skills, including cutting, bending, and assembling components.
Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of welding procedures, NDT techniques, and other industry regulations.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
